Frequently asked questions
Officevibe
Indeed, Officevibe is all about listening. If you have a burning question that you need answered, just let us know and we’ll get right to it.
In short, it’s a platform that helps managers get ready for one-on-one meetings, set objectives with employees, as well as do quick and easy follow-ups. As a SaaS survey platform it measures and follows employee engagement over time using 10 metrics developed in collaboration with Deloitte.
Officevibe was created to improve the lives of managers of small and medium-sized businesses, mostly in knowledge-based domains.
Thanks to our customizable template you can put together employee surveys in a snap. And get honest, totally anonymous feedback from your team. But that’s not all. You can also build one-on-one agendas with your team members in-app, set action items and track progress easily.
For starters, the basic version of Officevibe is free. If you like what you see, and would love even more analytical bells and whistles — and in our humble opinion we think you will — you can upgrade to Premium. For pricing visit this page.
In a fairly short time, Officevibe went pretty much worldwide. Especially in the HR tech world where you’ll find us in more than 100 countries, with a main focus on the U.S., Canada and the United Kingdom.
You’ve got security questions. We’ve got security answers. And they’re all right here.
We launched Officevibe in 2013. It was a small family affair.
At GSoft, it’s a given that we use all of the products we create. And Officevibe is no exception. All of our teams use the platform on a daily basis, and the data we gather is used throughout the organization so we can stay the course both on a human and technological level.
Officevibe speaks English and French for in-app languages. And English, French, Spanish, Portuguese and German for surveys. For more on language settings visit this page.

Recruitment
If you’re here, it’s probably because you’d love to learn more about how we work. Or you just love to scroll. Either way, everything you want to know to help you decide whether you’d like to join us is right here.
Not to worry. We get in touch with all candidates via email or phone.
In total, between 3 and 4 weeks for all stages of recruitment.
We took a productive time-out during the pandemic to review how we could create an even better GSoft experience. We decided upon everything from perks to the creation of a set of communication and collaboration principles. And we voted in favour of asynchronous work. We also created a work from abroad policy, as well as reviewed numerous key moments in the candidate and employee experience to reflect our new distributed reality.
At GSoft we’ve decided to become a remote company. Which in essence means that presence is not obligatory. But for those who prefer going to the office we will still maintain physical spaces. To best make this work, we’ve created a reservation system, as there will no longer be assigned offices. In other words, offices or co-working spaces are no longer central — but rather a perk among many others. But as we do recognize the importance of real one-on-one time, we host 3 must-attend events throughout the year, where employees can get together, and get to say hello and meet each other outside of the digital realm.
We went all in with a sustainable remote work model, and there’s no turning back. As a pioneer in finding new and better ways to work, it only made sense that we experiment and lead the way with remote work. And to do this we created some very specific principles so we could maximize our communications and collaborations.
Our objective? Have a positive impact on all levels of the organization and maximize our potential on a daily basis. That’s a big win for flexibility, autonomy and efficiency.
These are not optional principles. It’s our joint responsibility to stick to them so that GSoft can operate and perform sustainably as a whole company.
- Several times a year we get together socialize or reflect on the company. The rest of the year, going to the office is optional.
- Virtual work, is our default way of working as a team.
- We give ourselves the license to disconnect.
- We are pro-active in our communications.
- We make room and opportunities for informal discussions and cultivate social interactions.
In theory, we work on a 37.5 model. But in practice, because life and work is in constant flux we don’t use timesheets. We’re all adults here. There may be some weeks where you work less, sometimes a bit more. It all depends on your workload.
We’d love you to grow with us. And we’re the kind of place that creates the opportunities and the room you need not only to grow your career, but explore as many different options as you possibly can. You are the master of your future. If you spell it out, we will help you take on projects and initiatives that will best meet your trajectory.
Here it is in a nutshell:
- Start out with a virtual experience via BBHR for the signing of administrative documents (contract, insurance, taxes, cheque).
- Get the information you need on perks and advantages (2 weeks in advance) and you can order technical equipment or furniture (two weeks before hiring) so you’re good to go on the first day.
- You’ll get your laptop and other assorted swag the Thursday/Friday before your first day.
- Begin your integration with Softstart to get an idea of what’s up in the weeks ahead.
- On your first morning, you will have the time to enjoy your coffee while you make sure your computer is working properly. The Infra team, our IT department, will be available to you all morning, and until your first meeting, to help you if you need it.
- You are then invited to a welcome meeting at 10:30 am with our Employee Experience team, to learn about GSoft’s history, mission, vision, values, tools, and departments. At 11:30am, you will meet with Infra, our IT department, who will make sure you are up and running.
- One-on-one meetings with your colleagues and your manager will follow.
All of our official communications and documentation are bilingual (French and English). We take the time to consider every applicant, whether they speak French or not.
Canada, U.S. and the United Kingdom.
Our developers, which is also a part of their role at GSoft.
Our teams work with Scrum methodology, with daily and 2-week sprints, including workshops and reviews.
Interns
As an intern at GSoft you’ll get into the habit of asking a lot of questions. Here‘s a few you may be already seeking the answers to.
Indeed you will. Every single intern at GSoft has daily mentorship access to guide them through all kinds of challenges. But that’s not all, you’ll also be surrounded by an insanely competent and friendly team that’s there to answer just about any questions you may have.
Typically, we use React for the front-end and C# for the back-end. But it’s also possible to do an internship in development with teams using different technologies. For example, technologies more focussed on the Cloud component.
Great question. As an intern you’ll play an important role with your team. And collaborate with other team members every day. You’ll be treated like a real employee, not a gopher. In other words, you’ll be doing real work. And the code you produce will be deployed into actual production for our real clients. You’ll never work on a project only used internally.
Glad you asked. To name more than a few, these are the tools you’ll use on a regular basis. Slack, Microsoft Teams, Discord, Figma, Jira, Miro, Azure DevOps, and Confluence.
Most certainly. Many of our GSoft employees started out as interns. And making the transition from intern to employee is very smooth thanks to Softstart — our very own onboarding system.
We value remote internships as much as we do on-site internships. In fact, many of our interns completed remote internships during the pandemic. The comment made the most was that even remotely they got a true portrait of what it would be like to work in the office. Thanks to constant communication with Discord, virtual team building activities, and work that they could really connect with. All that, without having to leave the comforts of home.
Oh yes! Here’s what you’ll enjoy throughout the contract:
- Access to PAEF, a program to help employees and families.
- A $1,000 annual health budget as of your start date. This budget includes: sports items, subscriptions, sportswear, your Bixi card, and much more.
- Lunch delivered to your home depending on where you live.
- Reimbursement of internet fees up to $60/month. Renewable annually.
