The Chambre de l’assurance de dommages
The ChAD’s mission is to provide the public with general insurance protection, as well as claims settlement expertise.
ChAD’s management systems were outdated and unable to adapt to the current realities of their industry. It became increasingly clear that a total systems revamp was required, in order elevate employee efficiency, and satisfy certain demands, such as:
- Integrating new employees
- Increasing the speed at which claims are processed
- Reducing operational costs
- Facilitating system maintenance
- Producing personalized reports
Solutions Put in Place
In order to better manage trustee investigations, GSOFT suggested the development of a web solution that would enable employees to more efficiently monitor the flow of incoming claims.
The solution GSOFT developed provides employees with a personalized dashboard, as well as enables them to monitor important file dates, and export investigation timelines. Furthermore, it generates letter templates, provides electronic document management, and produces reports containing records of each file’s performance indicators.
The Colombo development project began in November of 2014. The GSOFT team, consisting of a ScrumMaster, architects, analysts, and developers, completed the web application in just 30 weeks.
An intuitive, user-friendly app that enables the training of new users in 1/3 of the time it had taken previously.
Colombo facilitates remote working and, in addition to standardizing the investigation process, also eliminates the need to print hard copies of documents.
Furthermore, Colombo allows for the careful monitoring and efficient management of files currently in progress.
